We start with our soil. We are stewards of 90 acres of rolling black prairie land which is certified USDA Organic. To our piece of earth we spray high quality aereted compost tea 4–6 times per year to keep a healthy herd of micro-organisims growing to cycle the precious nutrients into our grasses. Then we feed the biology in the soil with hydrolyzed fish, molasses and humic acid twice each year. From that point on Mother Nature takes over.

We harvest our grass with South Poll cattle. See our website for more information on these breeds. Our grass-fed cattle are high in conjugated lineolic acids (CLA) and Omega-3, both of which are known to help prevent cancer and heart disease.

We are currently building an organic feed mill and grainery on our farm. (more...)
