We are a small family farm, located in the Piedmont of North Carolina trying to preserve the land and serve our community. Gourmet cooks will be happy to know our specialty crop is Shiitake Mushrooms, grown with assistance of scientists and Cooperative Extension Agents from local universities. We practice sustainable farming which means we do not use chemicals. These mushrooms are completely natural, for we take pride in the mushrooms we grow. We started shittake mushroom production in 2006 and hope that this will be the beginning of a long community related legacy. This year our production will be 700 logs, and we are already innoculating 600 more that will be ready to produce in spring 2009.
