Barr Farms is a seventh generation family farm owned and operated by me, my Uncle Mike and father, Gary. We have raised Polled Hereford X Angus Beef for 20+ years. Next spring we will offer grass-finished beef for the first time. We also have Percheron draft horses for work and pleasure.

This coming year, 2007, will be the first year for Barr Farms CSA. I will grow a wide variety of herbs and vegetables (see listing), as well as gourmet and medicinal mushrooms. The garden is in small-scale intensive production using double dug raised beds. I grow healthy food on remineralized soil.

Since this is the first year for the CSA, there are a limited number of subscriptions available. See the CSA listing for full details on this program.
