Abundance CSA

Abundance CSA is a 12 member CSA that provides naturally grown, freshly picked, vegetables and herbs to residents of Abundance Eco-Village, Fairfield, and Vedic City, Iowa (SE Iowa).

Abundance CSA is located in Abundance Ecovillage, a wind and solar powered community that is committed to having agriculture and edible landscaping integrated into its landscape. With Abundance CSA we strive to create a beautiful, diverse, and productive ecosystem that provides vibrant produce to our local community.

We avoid using hybrid seeds and grow many unusual and heirloom varieties of vegetables and herbs, chosen for flavor, nutrition, and adaptability to our local climate and soil.

We irrigate our crops using only rainwater (harvested in our large pond) that is pumped using solar and wind power. (more...)
