My pest control practices are a mix of beneficial insects, differing cultural practices, biological "sprays" (the same things that are organically approved) and as a last resort non organic sprays. Fertlization comes from a mix of decomnposed manure, green manure, and commercial fertilization products which are incoroporated into the soil prior to planting. I utilize drip irrigation to minimize watesful irriagtion, and weed management is achieved through cultivators on tractors for between rows and employees with hand tools to weed between plants within rows.

Okay, so I lied when I said no more shares for the CSA after April 18th... I can accept additional 20 week vegetable shares up until June 10th. I can add in additional 15 week shares up until the first Sunday in July. I can only add about 50 shares total though. We have 140 families now, and I will stop adding shares if we hit 200.

We are picking lettuce and a few other greens now. I anticipate that by July 10th we will be picking zucchini and yellow squash.
