Tomten Farm

Tomten Farm is a high-altitude, solar-powered organic farm at 9000' near Telluride, Colorado. We grow salad greens year-round in a solar greenhouse and most other vegetables outside in the summer. We appreciate our interns who help run the farm, as we all learn together. We grow some medicinal herbs, some wildcrafted herbs as we have 40 acres. It's an amazingly beautiful place and if we can teach folks how to grow food with our very short season and always cool temperatures - they'll be able to grow food anywhere. Lots of kids do farm tours through the local schools and summer camps and we love to have WWOOFers and others come visit.
