Castle Rock Gardens

Castle Rock Gardens is owned and operated by Ristin Cooks and Patrick Walsh and is located in Chatham County North Carolina.

We specialize in growing heirloom variety vegetables for the Carrboro farmers market and for many fine restaraunts in the Chapel Hill area.

We grow using organic practices and incorporate chickens and cover crops in our garden rotations. In addition to vegetables, we sell fresh eggs and heritage breed whole chickens.

On the farm you can see our green house for season extension, shitake mushroom logs, dairy goats, rabbits, at least 12 different varieties of chickens, apple and pear orchard featuring southern heirloom variety fruits, honey bees, and 4 spoiled cats.

We are committed to fine food, diversity, and sustainable practices.

We will not offer a CSA in 2009 due to health reasons, please check back next year
