Wildroot Farm is comprised of 65 acres located in the heart of York County. The farm is centrally located between the towns of Kennebunk, Sanford, and Biddeford, approximately seven to ten miles from each. The larger cities of Portland and Portsmouth, NH are within a half hour drive. We are also a half hour from the ocean and great surfing beaches and New Hampshire’s White Mountains are less than two hours away. The farm itself has much to offer…walking trails throughout the woods, swimming spots in the river, hammocks in the trees. Half of the farm is open pasture, hay meadow, and vegetable fields, and the other half is forest that backs up to the Kennebunk River. The majority of the land is held in conservation by the Kennebunk Land Trust, allowing for healthy agricultural practices while preserving the open and forested space. (more...)
