CRYSTAL BROOK FARM is a pristine, award winning New England farmstead where owner Ann Starbard makes goat cheese. The herd of 70 Alpine and Saanen dairy goats produce all the milk used in the goat cheese operation. Thus purity, quality and freshness is consistently controlled. The goat cheese is a natural product. The animals receive high quality feed, with free access to green pastures and seasonal browse. These details yield an abundant quantity of fresh milk that is free of antibiotic residue and synthetic hormones. Circular sawn lumber is also produced on the farm by Eric Starbard, owner. He operates a 1920's Lane sawmill. Custom sawing is also available. Wide pine planks for flooring and old building projects is available as well as odd dimension beams of various tree species.

Try the Mediterranean Goat Cheese- Our fresh Chevre with Garlic, Oregano, Whole Peppercorns in a pool of Olive Oil. Great on baguette, pasta, salad. Available at the Cheese Store at our farm in Sterling, MA. Holiday Opne House- Sunday, December 14th. Circular sawn lumber, custom sawing, wide pine boards.
