The shares include weekly pickups of produce at Long Hill, as well as Pick-Your-Own vegetables, herbs, and flowers on the farm. The harvest season will run for approximately 20 distribution weeks, from June to October. Shareholders will receive a wide variety of organically-grown produce. Shareholders are also invited to enjoy the open space of our 150 acre farm for hiking, dog walking, picnics, etc.
The benefits of a CSA partnership between the consumer and the grower is the high quality organic produce, maintaining land in sustainable agriculture, strengthening the local economy, knowing your farmer and learning about organic gardening practices. Sign-up is limited but is still open. We are very easily located in beautiful West Newbury approximately 30 miles North of Boston.
Take exit 57 off Rt. 95, travel West on Rt. 113 for approx 3 miles, we're on the right. Look for the Long Hill Farm sign.
