Our farm is in full swing this 2008 season. We are experiencing plenty of rain and vegetables are growing fat on the plants. We have had many encounters with wildlife and are enjoying what summertime brings.
We intend on having an excellent crop of garlic and onions, also fall greens. I'm looking forward to arugula, pac choi, mustard, broccoli raab and more. And coming real soon are the tomatoes and peppers.
The markets are hoppin' and we enjoy the comments from our customers. Wednesdays at Allen Street are really picking up and we love the philosophy of "eating locally." I've learned how to wrap vegetables in greens for a sandwich and how to add greens to my smoothies. Please remember to ask the growers questions or to share some tips of your own.

Allen Street Market is on Wednesdays 2:30p.m. to7:00 May 16-October
