Little Alaska Farm owned and operated by Roger and Linda Fortin since 1974, is located at 222 Leeds Junction Road in Wales, Maine. Little Alaska Farm's 360 acres of rolling green pastures are home to our 100 Black Angus brood cows. We use New Zealand Heritage Devon bloodline sires. Our Devon Angus cross calves are kept on their dams for ten months and then go on to a rotational pasture program. Our pigs are fed out on grass; our chicken, turkeys, ducks and laying hens are range fed and their grains are a veggie formula-no animal by-products allowed. We do not use antibiotics or hormones and the catte are 100% grass fed. Our farm products are available at our on farm Little Alaska Retail Market. We (more...)
