Flint Hill Mini Farm started as a hobby farm to raise a goat. We went from finding a pet for our youngest daughter to having a full fledged mini-farm. We started this about 8 years ago. We have about 20 goats now - mostly mamas and baby girls. We had a very good spring birthing with 16 baby kids born.
With the cashmere we get from our goats we comb or shear them for their fiber and send it in for processing which is made into skeins which are for sale on our site.
This is beautiful stuff and I have had a yarn shop order handle it and appraise it for me and she says it is "excellent" in quality. I also got into soap making because it seemed interesting to me and because we are a family with lots of allergies. I wa
