We are a small farm raising primarily meat sheep and goats, raised on natural pastures. A small amount of non-organic grains may be fed to our breeding females at some seasons, and at some times to our young stock when the extra nutrition is needed (as when the pasturage is poor due to drought. Our farm is dedicated to preserving heritage breeds of livestock such as the Shetland sheep, the Pilgrim goose and the Arapawa goat. Lambs and meat goat kids are available in the fall, and can be driven to a meat processor in Escanaba, Michigan for a fee.
