Aunt Josie's "Famous" Italian Biscotti, a product of Daisy's Farm Stand. This past summer, a delicious family favorite was introduced, to the public, at Capital City Farmers Market (Montpelier, VT). The inspiration to bake was Daisy's hens. Prolific layers, it was hard to keep up with the eggs and so Aunt Josie's "Famous" Italian Biscotti was born. The biscotti was such a huge hit that her customers begged for more. Tomatoes, Peppers, Herbs,... and biscotti!!! A strange mix for a farm stand, you may think, but, to an Italian and anyone who appreciates good Italian produce and biscotti , HEAVEN...
This is truly an amazing biscotti recipe, many generations old. Many flavors and great for gifts, holidays, events.
