Previously known as "Frosty Pines" cut-your-own Christmas tree farm, Tall Trees Community Farm remains under the ownership of Terry Kelley, but its' role in the community is evolving...Starting in 2008 part of the farm is being transitioned into organic and heirloom varieties food farming, using biointensive and permaculture approaches. We started selling our fresh salad greens at the Oakland Farmers' Market lin 2008 and were there through December with our beautiful, one-of a kind holiday wreaths & swags, woodland crafts, and our decorating greens. Now we are focusing on local markets and CSAs.

The "Christmas Trees" at Tall Trees have grown into a permanent forest which, along with existing hardwood wilderness fens, and other wetland areas, will become part of a future land preserve. The (more...)

Our holiday wreaths and swags are made from mixed fresh-cut greens. We have traditional (cones/ribbons) and specialty wreaths in sizes ranging from 18" to 48". We enjoy working with groups to customize wreaths for FUNDRAISERS, and we can plan "work parties" with the groups (including hayrides, bonfires, refreshments) or will produce the wreaths for the group.
