The salad mix is very much in demand by customers, both at the local farmers markets and in direct sales from the farm. It consists of over 15 different varieties of lettuce, spinach, arugula, endive, etc. that has been washed, spun dry and packaged. It stays fresh for up to three weeks.
During the late spring and summer, the farm offers vegetables such as Blue Lake green beans, zucchini, yellow squash, tomatoes, corn, butterbeans, etc. Many of the vegetables are heirloom varieties. Blueberries and strawberries are also offered.
Crooked Cedar Farm also grows over 400 different colors of daylilies, perennials, and cut summer flowers. The farm offers homemade from "scratch" baked goods such as Red Velvet, Coconut, and Sweet German Chocolate cakes,and spinach and broccoli quiches which are made to order by Edwina.
The Harrell's welcome visitors to the farm for tours and shopping and are open everyday on a limited basis or by appointment.
