Rancho de Santa Fe, The Fruit Basket, and Velarde Orchards is located in northern New Mexico. The town of Velarde was founded in 1598. The Velarde family began farming in this beautiful valley finding it perfect for growing chiles, peppers, spices, and a variety of fruits including apples, pears, cherries, plums, apricots and more.
