Growing Washington at Alm Hill Gardens is a collaborative project between Growing Washington, a non-profit 501 c 3, and Alm Hill Gardens, a sustainable family farm in operation for over 35 years. Growing Washington is assisting in the management of the farm and allowing Ben and Gretchen (the owners) to have a little more time to enjoy themselves after 35 years of hard farm work. Ben and Gretchen have remained on as advisers, and their children, Joshua and Katie continue to have an increased role in the farm management and marketing. On the farm we grow raspberries, blueberries, blackberries, marion berries, boysenberries, wonderful salad mixes, root vegetables, cucumbers, squash, asparagus, eggs, etc. (more...)
