Our 3 acre farm is rich, river bottom land, that grows some of the best tasting, nutritious Heirloom vegetables. Our family grows bio-intensive. That means growing in raised beds and close spacing, No chemicals, pesticides, or herbicides, using cover crops and compost from our animals to feed our soil. We bought our farm in 2005, each year having added additional beds to the garden. From our garden we are able to sell produce at Riverhills Farmers Market , off the farm, and to a inner city CSA (Community Supported Agriculture). Our specialty is Heirloom Vegetable, Herbs and Flowers. In addition to our garden we grow bedding plants for sale out of our greenhouse and are planning to add an additional one this spring.

Heirloom Bedding Plants will be available in April. We're preparing to start the CSA deliveries in May. Please contact Mark or Michelle if you are interested. We will be set up at the Riverhills Farmers Market Special Spring Event on Saturday, April 26, 2008 at the Silex School starting at 8:30 AM. Check our more info at the Riverhills Farmers Market site. It's a great family day so come out with the whole family and join us.
