ail cuts are available year round. As for bulk meat purchases, we offer whole, half and split half beef plus whole and half pork.
Besides growing the world's best food, we're also raising our four children (as of Sept. ΓΆΒ?Β?09 they are all ages 6 and under) in the original farm house. The working hand pump is right outside the door. The 1894 barn, original windmill as well as several original outbuildings still grace our farmyard. Highland Vista Farm was declared a Century Farm in 1975.
Summertime is the best here at Highland Vista Farm. Luscious green grass, lowing cattle, happy hogs, chattering hens, a few roosters and several curious cats create that old fashioned farm depicted in many children's books. On any given day you'll find Steve in his overalls keeping busy tending animals, gathering eggs, fixing equipment, making sales calls and deliveries or Colleen tending the kids, making bread, tending the kids, sales planning, tending the kids, packing eggs and tending the kids.
In 2006 we were pleased to have Joel Salatin to our farm for supper. His methods are working here! Come and be a part of Highland Vista Farm history and its future.
