Several small family farms have come together to share their fall and winter harvests with you through this Winter CSA. Produce for the Winter Share will be grown at Riverland Farm in Sunderland, MA, Picadilly Farm in Winchester, NH, Cider Hill Farm in Amesbury and -- new this year! -- locally-grown dried beans provided by Charlie Baer in Hamilton, MA. In 2009 there are two Winter Share schedules to chose from: the Three Month Winter Share with distributions on Oct 24, Nov 14 and Dec 12 distributions, or the Two Month Winter Share with distributions on Nov 7 and Dec 5. Additional local products will be available during the share pick ups on a pre-order basis. Fiore di Nonno cheese, organic eggs from free-range chickens, maple syrup, bulk dried beans and additional greens are on the menu.
