The vegetables are freshly-picked and members tell us that the veggies last much longer than store-bought produce.
The type of vegetables available will vary depending on the time of year and on Mother Nature's plans. We strive to have plenty of familiar favorites like tomatoes and salad mix, as well as a few tasty items that may be hard to find elsewhere. In addition to the produce, we also offer for sale other organic and/or grass-fed meats, eggs, milk, cheese, etc. from other local farms. The overall goal of Goldfinch Farm CSA is to grow the best produce possible in an ecologically-sound manner while helping shareholders gain a sense of connection to the land and to their food supply.
