Huasna (Whauz-na) Valley Farm, southeast of Arroyo Grande, offers the community of SLO County local, fresh, produce delivered to neighborhood dropsites through a CSA (Community Supported Agriculture). Although we are not certified organic, we grow our produce the good 'ol fashioned way - without herbicides, fungicides, pesticides, or synthetic fertilizers. The 2006 Season extends April 12 through November 15, for a total of 32 weeks's. Weekly harvest shares are delivered in a standard 34-quart ice chest to other host's homes on either Wednesday or Thursday afternoons. Harvest Shares include a variety of seasonal fruits (mostly berries and melons), fresh herbs, and vegetables. Eggs and/ or flowers can be added.
