Black Kettle Wild Farm

The Eddy Foundation seeks a new or experienced organic farmer to operate its 215 acre farm in Essex , New York. The Black Kettle Farm features 3+ acres of vegetable garden, including an asparagus patch, fruit trees, grape vines, a 60-acre fenced pasture, solar-powered three-bedroom farmhouse (suitable for interns, which also serves as the main office for the EF), cottage, large barn, nature trail, good water, a pond and lots of forest. Black Kettle provides an opportunity to be part of a developing organic farm community near Split Rock Wildway, a wildlife corridor in the Champlain Valley of the Adirondacks.
