Al's Vegetables are 100% Certified Organic by Ohio Ecoclogical Food and Farm Alliance. Allan Weilnau has been farming all his life and the current farm has been up and running for over a decade. His daughter Kate joined him at the farm 6 years ago.
Their farming practices are truly sustainable. They do not use plastic mulch or any organic approved pesticides and herbicides. They only use on farm inputs like hay and ashes from the winter wood stove. All food is picked the day of or the day before market. All food is the ripest, freshest and most nutritious possible!
They specialize in exotic and heirloom produce in order to produce the most flavorful food. Seed saving is a very important part of their production. It
