At Turkey Hill Farm we grow vegetables and fruits for market and select local restaurants. Our farm is Certified Naturally Grown[www.naturallygrown.org]. In Fall, Winter and Spring we grow traditional Southern greens, Asian greens, lettuces, arugula, carrots, Brassicas, radishes, scallions, green garlic, and satsumas. In Summer we have Heirloom Tomatoes, Elephant garlic, Shallots, Summer Squash Sweet Basil, Figs, Pears, Muscadine Grapes and Wild Blueberries. We grow Shiitake Mushroooms on oak logs and have wild Chantrelles in season. We also keep Ameraucana chickens for eggs and sell the great Bear Creek Worm Castings.
We send out our "farm report" by email once a week to let people know what we will have for sale at the markets and what is going on at the farm and in the area.
