At Turkey Hill Farm we grow vegetables and fruits for market and select local restaurants, In Fall, Winter and Spring we grow traditional Southern greens, Asian greens, lettuces, arugula, carrots, Brassicas, radishes and scallions. In Summer we have Heirloom Tomatoes, Elephant garlic, Shallots, Summer Squash Sweet Basil, Figs, Pears, Muscadine Grapes and Wild Blueberries. We grow Shiitake Mushroooms on oak logs and have wild Chantrelles in season. We also keep Ameraucana chickens for eggs and sell the great Bear Creek Worm Castings. We send out our "farm report" by email twice every week to let people know what we will have for sale at the markets and what is going on at the farm and in the area. I (more...)

  • It is a Great year for the grapes. The Regale pictured above is a wonderful grape for juice or just eating. The Jumbos are ready and the Fry and Carlos won't be far behind.
