At Turkey Hill Farm we grow vegetables and fruits for market and local restaurants. In Spring, Fall and Winter we grow traditional Southern greens, Asian greens, lettuces, arugula, carrots, Brassicas, radishes and scallions. In Summer we have Heirloom Tomatoes, Elephant garlic, Shallots, Sweet Basil, Figs, Pears, Muscadine Grapes and Wild Blueberries. We grow Shiitake Mushroooms on oak logs and have wild Chantrelles in season. We also keep chickens for eggs and sell the great Bear Creek Worm Castings. We love our volunteers and usually provide a good wholesome lunch.
Our seasonal produce is available year round on Saturdays at the Tallahassee Farmers' Market [Market Square, Timberlane Road] and in town on Wednesday afternoons at Lake Ella in front of the VFW post just off North Monroe Street.
