A Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) farm, providing fresh, subscription vegetables and flowers grown on our family farm without chemical pesticides, herbicides or fertilizers. Our vegetables, flowers, honeybees and hens are raised without the the use of chemicals. and are gmo free.

The Bates/Hauter family has grown vegetables, berries and raised honey bees on their farm in the Bull Run Mountains since the 1960's. Leigh Hauter has managed CSA's since the early 90's and during the mid 90's we dedicated our farm to CSA farming, making us now the oldest and most experienced, continually operating CSA in the Washington DC area.

Year in and year out, our CSA has a proven record of successfully providing a diverse variety of vegetables, herbs and flowers to our shareholders. We plan on 2009 being our best year yet..

  • In 2009 we have added more farm land, reduced the number of shares, and plan to increase the quantity and variety of vegetables grown. These changes account for the increase in our share price.

Our fertile fields (we have worked over four decades now, using organic methods, building our farm's fertility) located on the west side of Highpoint Mountain in the Bull Run Mountains, has year round water from two large artesian springs flowing out of the mountain side.
