Solar Harvest Farm is a pasture-based family farm located 30 miles SW of Milwaukee, (about 20 miles N of the WI/IL border). We offer Pastured chicken, Eggs, Grassfed beef and "Pig-Happy Pork". (Yes, their behavior clearly demonstrates that they are indeed "happy".) Our poultry and pigs are provided with certified organic feed as well as forage from our pastures. The cattle are raised on their mother's milk before weaning onto a diet of hay and lush forage. Our livestock are raised in sync with the natural seasonal patterns. Poultry is offered on scheduled days in June and August, Grassfed beef in July and September as well as Pork in September. Our farming philosophy is centered around the balance and rejuvenation of soil biology and fertility so as to pass this fertility on to plant, animal and ultimately our customers.

Schedule and Location:
We don't live on a road with enough traffic to justify a farm store. Instead, all our products are available based on the schedule that we publish with each spring newsletter. We'll happily mail or email you a copy! This may be a bit inconvenient in your first season with us, however, once you're in the rhythm, good food is only as far away as your freezer!
We are located at 7432 Marsh Road. From Waterford, take Hwy 20/83 west to Buena Park Rd, turn right, (North). Proceed on Buena Park Rd, then follow the big curve to the left at which time the road magically becomes Ranke Rd. Follow the next curve to the right, at which time the road magically becomes Marsh Rd. Continue on until you cross a large marsh. We are the first farm on the left after the marsh. The house has all glass south exposure. The wind generator is also a good landmark. When coming from the north, take Hwy 164 to Big Bend, turn right, (west) on Hwy L, then proceed 2.5 miles to Center Dr. Sign also says "To Marsh Rd". Turn left, (south) on Center Dr and proceed another 2.5 miles to our farm. (Center Dr magically becomes Marsh Rd when you cross the county line). If you see cattails on both sides of your car, turn around, (or call a tow truck)! We're the last farm before the cattails on the west side of the road.
