We raise for sale: vegetables, beef, chicken, pork, hardwood timber; We sell some feeder cattle. We have always used sustainable agriculture methods and compost on a large scale. We also sell rock phosphate by the bag or ton.
Beef and pork are sold frozen by the quarter or half, and we sell ground beef by the pound. Chickens are sold frozen whole. We have used rotational pastures since the 70s, and put up a lot of hay for winter. We grow most of our own feed for the animals and grind it here on the farm.
We started a CSA in 2003 and have expanded for 2008. Share price is $400, with double shares for $700. We also sell at the Sweetwater Local Foods Market in Muskegon.
