Celebrating 15 Years Of Organic Farming in 2008 - Established in 1993, the Pure Earth Organic Farm, was founded on 30 acres of rented land near the city of Pittsburgh, growing organic vegetables for Farmer's Markets and wholesale outlets throughout the city. In 2001, the farm moved and expanded to 85 acres, 2 hours North of Pittsburgh, near Edinboro/Meadville, PA. In 2006 we expanded our acreage to 110 acres. Organic Garlic is our specialty (and main cash crop), but we sometimes have vegetables, fruit (apples), herbs, flowers, and other crops, depending on the season and the weather. Please check our web page for more information, or e-mail (You can phone us but we are hard to reach by phone).

Garlic has been harvested and is now curing. It will be available for sale in mid-late September. This year's garlic crop is excellent (one of the best I've seen in many years) and it won a ribbon (once again) at the 2008 Crawford County Fair, one of the biggest and most prestigious fairs in the state of Pennsylvania. We also took a 2nd place ribbon for our wonderful organic apples, what a bumper crop . . . U-Pick apples available (by appointment) while supplies last.
