Salamander Springs Farm is a small, intensive farm producing a wide range of market crops. Black turtle beans, pinto beans, popcorn and an heirloom wholegrain cornmeal are grown, dried, shelled, processed and packaged on the farm to be sold locally and online at www.LocalHarvest.org/store/M5606 (1# and 2# bags with recipe). Vegetable crops include potatoes, tomatoes, onions, garlic, pumpkins & squash, cucumbers, peppers, greens, salad & stir-fry mixes as well as herbs & flowers. 'Susana's Organics' products include packaged dried herbs & teas, herbal salves, 'Mountain Mama' Salsa (16 oz. jars; mild, medium or hot), 'Summer Garden' Tomato Juice (32 oz. jars). Tomato-based products are sold only within Kentucky as per micro-processor certification requirements. (more...)
