MILDREDS' DAUGHTERS URBAN FARM operates on 5 acres that have been deeded as a farm since 1875. We are the last property zoned agricultural in the city of Pittsburgh. We grow a wide variety of heirloom tomatoes as well as specialty vegetables, flowers, and herbs.

SPRING SEEDLING SALES: We sell a wide variety of heirloom tomato seedlings, We also offer a large selection of annual and perennial herbs, including 6 varieties of basil. Vegetable seedlings offered include rainbow Swiss chard, Wintorbor & Russian kale, melons, eggplant, sweet and hot peppers, and squash.

Farmers' Market   

Schedule and Location:
: In the 2009 season we will attend the Local Farmers Market at Whole Foods Market in East Liberty. This market takes place on the last Wednesday of the month in the Whole Foods parking lot, Dates are. July 29, August 26, and September 30..

During peak season for tomatoes we attend other markets. These will be posted in July so check back if you are looking for unique tomato tastes in many varieties.
