River Valley Farm is committed to proving the market value of Livestock Heritage Breeds like the Cotswold Sheep, the Navajo Churro Sheep, Black Java Chickens and Gloucestershire Old Spot Pigs. California Red Sheep along with Karakul and Jacob sheep and our guardian Llamas help to round out our fiber offerings to help you create outstanding fiber projects. Our flocks are raised outside, naturally on fresh green grass. We do not use growth hormones or feed antibiotics to our animals as part of their diet. Our chickens and pigs are fed a vegetarian, grain diet and are allowed to free range year round. This produces the most flavorful and tasty meats.
