On 60 rolling acres in rural Randolph Co. NC, the Tate Family owns and operates Goat Lady Dairy. We produce hand made, farmstead cheeses from the fresh milk of our 60 goat herd and the milk from the Wilderness Trail Dairy goat herd located nearby. We raise Saanen, Nubian and French Alpine dairy goats. We sell our cheese at 2 local Farmers' Markets every Saturday and deliver weekly to restaurants and stores throughout North Carolina. We also sell from the dairy (please call ahead) Monthly we host Dinner At The Dairy, a 5 course fine dining experience and a 4 course Sunday Brunch. We feature our own organic vegetables, handmade cheeses, whey-fed pork and grass-fed beef at all our meal events. Check out our web-site for special events like our Spring and Fall Open House.

We make several types of handmade cheeses. Our fresh cheese includes spreadable Fromage in several flavors, hand rolled logs, smoked and marinated. Our soft-ripened cheeses are Camembert, Crottin, Sandy Creek (ashed) and Julian. Our raw milk aged cheese is Providence (4 to 6 months aged). We also make Chocolate Goat Cheese Truffles. New to our product line-up is a deliciously tangy drained Greek style yogurt made from only fresh goat milk (no additives) and live pro-biotic cultures.
