Busy Bee Farm has been in business since 1981. We are the only local u-pick it in Pittsboro for blueberries, blackberries. We also have a honey operation selling local, pure honey. We also grow tomatoes, red potatoes, bell peppers and banana peppers. Three thornless varities of blackberries (Apache, Arapaho, Navaho) and three varities of blueberries (Tiff Blue, Garden Blue and Powder Blue that are mixed, which makes for a better overall flavor).Our rows are all mulched, no weeds, no grass, and no ticks--this makes for pleasant and easy pickin'! Children welcome (must be weighed before pickin'--Just kidding!) So c'mon out!
