Hello! Here are some of our lovely laying hens and their beautiful rooster. CATNIP FARM is a 14 acre organic farmstead in western Iowa County, owned by Rich and Ericka Dana since the fall of '96. In our 12th season, we specialize in growing the best catnip in the world ("Mr. Nipster" brand) & heirloom Iowa White~Indian freestone peaches, and we provide our CSA members & farm customers with organically grown vegetables, culinary & medicinal herbs, cut flowers, fruit, fresh multi-colored pastured chicken eggs, bedding plants, honey, fresh & dried catnip, handmade kitty toys and fine crafts (Wildgirl ceramics, jewelry, mosaics & ornaments). We also grow 11 acres of organic alfalfa and grow herbs & vegetables year-round in our geodesic dome greenhouse.
