Welcome to Catnip Farm! Here are some of our heirloom peach trees in bloom last spring. Despite the severe winter of '07-'08 and the months of flooding that followed, we had a GREAT peach crop last season. We're looking forward to some nice, normal weather this season (ha!)... and our biggest, best catnip crop ever =^..^= !! CATNIP FARM is a 14+ acre organic farmstead in western Iowa County, owned by Rich and Ericka Dana since the fall of '96. We are members of the The Iowa Farmers Union. Now in our 13th season, we specialize in growing the best Catnip in the world ("Mr. Nipster" brand ~ Organic Catnip for Real Cool Cats!) & beautiful, productive, RARE native heirloom Iowa White ~ Indian Freestone Peach Trees, Peaches & Seeds, and we provide our CSA members & farm customers with organically grown vegetables, culinary & medicinal herbs, wheat, oat, barley and rye grain "kitty greens" cat grass seed kits, cut flowers, fruit, bedding plants, honey, fresh & dried catnip, handmade kitty toys and fine crafts (Wildgirl ceramics, jewelry, mosaics & ornaments).
