My Mother's Garden Inc.

Our family farm includes a certified organic nursery operation specializing in culinary herb plants, edible flowers and salad greens. The nursery is open by appointment or call or write for a list of plants available through mail-order. A small market garden produces cut herbs, gourmet greens, and specialty vegetables during the winter months. We sell direct to the public at Saturday morning farmers market located in Sarasota, Florida.

Our newest venture is Murray Grey grass-fed beef cattle and Tamworth hogs naturally and humanely raised. Our cattle are pasture-raised, grass-fed and raised without hormones, antibiotics or commercial feed. They Murray Grey breed marbles nicely on grass. Our pigs root under oak trees in our woods and are fed daily with mixed grains from a local mill. The Tamworth breed is a lean-type hog renowned for it's bacon.
