Uwharrie Farm is a three generation family farm nestled in the rolling hills of the Piedmont Region of North Carolina. The Uwharrie Mountains overlook rolling pastures, woodlands, gardens and greenhouses on our 120 acre farm. Committed to an environmentally friendly agriculture and safe food supply our family produces a variety of vegetables without the use of chemicals. We are also experimenting with pastured poultry for egg and meat production.
Our latest endeavor is education through our farm website. We are sharing knowledge, resources and more to encourage others to take responsibility for their health, shop wisely, prepare meals at home and help their budget by growing some of their food if possible.

Due to the state of the economy we have experienced a shortage in firewood. For this reason we are unable to grow our usual spring crop of greenhouse tomatoes. Please check with us in the fall.
