Natural Roots

Natural Roots is a small, diversified, family farm nestled in the South River valley just north of the small village of Conway, Massachussetts. It is with a reverence for all living things that we aim to raise every plant and animal on the farm in optimal health and vitality. To this end we nourish our soils with carefully made compost, green manure crops, and grazing animals. We rely on the help of our four work horses to do all of the field work ie. plowing, cultivating, mowing, spreading compost, etc., they even pull the harvest out of the field each harvest day. We till about seven acres of prime bottomland and graze another six to eight with our grass fed sheep. We are a community oriented farm and a wonderful place for children. (more...)
