Fenwick Community Garden

Cleveland, Ohio

Fenwick Community Garden started in 2008 by residents and members of the Fenwick Neighbors block club. We have about1/2 of an acre of land available to us and hope to become a market garden in the next couple of years. Everyone is welcome to garden here as long as they are respecful of the community. We have a rain barrel system that we utilize for watering our garden. Gardeners grow vegetables like tomatoes, corn, peas, carrots and fruits like melons. Some gardeners grow flowers and we have a dedicated 20' x 10' plot for herbs. This summer we are expanding our children's plot as well as our growable area. We are a friendly and enthusiastic group with varied levels of experience from none to several years. We have a composting system where we compost green wastes from the neighborhood and a local restaraunt to build our soil.
