Filbert Acres is a unique farm located in the Puyallup River valley, specializing in hazelnuts since 1947. Under new ownership since 2009, the farm now offers a vegetable CSA program and pork for sale. And yes, we have NO hazelnuts! Our new hazelnut orchard was planted in December 2011. We anticipate our first harvest in 2015! We are right off Pioneer Way, one mile west of Puyallup. Stop by Monday-Saturday during the day, year 'round. Come watch us grow and enjoy a retreat to the country, with salmon creeks, eagles, and views of Mt. Rainier and neighboring farms.
