Firefly Farm is a small 20 acre family farm in southern Pennsylvania. We raise Jacob Sheep, a small, rare breed of sheep. We believe in using sustainable agriculture practices on our farm. Sustainable agriculture is a method of farming that produces food & fiber without depleting the worlds resources or polluting the environment. The hardiness of Jacob sheep allows us to pursue these ideals. Our sheep are kept out on pasture and are rotated through paddocks which provide a clean, healthy environment for the animals. The grass-fed lambs are butchered in the fall. Please contact us in September to determine availability. We also have a variety of fiber products for sale. Our sheep are sheared in the spring prior to lambing.
