Flint Hill Mini Farm started as a hobby farm to raise a goat. We went from finding a pet for our youngest daughter to having a full fledged mini-farm. We started this about 10 years ago. We have about 5 goats now - mostly mamas and their daughters. With the cashmere we get from our goats, we comb or shear them for their fiber and send it in for processing which is made into skeins which are for sale on our site.
This is beautiful stuff and I have had a yarn shop owner handle it and appraise it for me and she says it is "excellent" in quality. The present yarn we have is a blend of llama and cashmere - it is also very nice. I also got into soap making because it seemed interesting to me and because we are a family with lots of allergies. I
