Food for Thought Cafe is a student-run, student-funded cafe at Portland State University. Established in 2002, Food For Thought Cafe provides students with an afforadble and healthy alternative dining option. The menu is all vegetarian, uses local organic ingredients and changes seasonally. The cafe sells fair-trade organic coffee for a dollar and uses biodegradable to-go containers. Food for Thought hosts educational events and a student gallery adorns the walls.
