We are a fairly new farm, home to the Permaculture Skills Center, specializing in permaculture education and demonstration of sustainable farming and landscaping. We are entering our second season as a CSA and have llama, alpaca, chicken, and sheep on rotating pasture. This summer, we will have three styles of beehives for side by side comparisons. We are growing fruit and nut trees, strawberries, flowers, many perennial crops ads well as your standard farm crops. This is a cool place to volunteer as something new is always being added and everything is done with education in mind.
We are open to volunteers Wednesdays and Saturdays. Volunteers are encouraged to take home produce at the end of the workday.
We also do occasional tours, check our website for dates and more info: http://www.permacultureskillscenter.org/
The farm is easy to find, in South Sebastopol on Hwy 116, just across from the Flea Market. Look for the white fence and big 'Permaculture Skills Center' sign.
