At the end of my first harvest cycle (spring/summer 2010) I asked my subscribers via a survey monkey survey to comment on what I could improve on for their experience. They uniformly indicated that the copious amount of tomatos was great, but that many were damaged in their bags.
Does anyone have suggestions on how to pack tomatos for transport so that they are less likely to be damaged? Also, how do you field cool tomatos in order to avoid splits. I think that may have been part of the problem as well --cooled too quickely?
