CSA Blueberry Pricing    (Posted Wed, May 29 '13 at 02:42 UTC)

Does anyone have experience selling fruit, and in this case blueberries to CSA? What's the right price per pound?

If you are filling your boxes by price rather than volume, you should be able to just use the regular sales price at your farmers markets (or your farm stand if you have one).

Catering to the unique Ferndale perspective.

The few times I have sold fruit to a CSA I gave my bulk rate which is 25% off. The same rate I give to restaurants and people who buy my produce in bulk for canning

You could calculate how long it takes to pick those berries, labor costs, equipment costs if it is mechanical, amortize the cost of the plants, weeding, fertilizer, etc etc....

Then add on a percentage for profit.
