Is there much demand increase, in 3 season growing areas of the country, for earlier and later crops? Anybody moving to year round production in greenhouses due to customers wanting more from the CSA?
our winter CSA is usually larger than our main season. We have been doing season extension for about 15 years (row covers, home made hoophouses) and this year got a NRCS subsidy to get a high tunnel and plan of getting that up and running by mid September
Definitely for restaurant sales.
