POLL: Where do you buy your beef?    (Posted Wed, May 18 '11 at 08:08 UTC)

I am currently conducting research to identify how, where, and how often consumers purchase beef. I am collecting the information for the UK Cooperative Extension Services. I greatly appreciate your time and value your feedback.

1) How many times a month do you purchase beef?
2) How many times a WEEK do you consume beef?
3) Where do you typically purchase beef?
4) What cuts do you typically purchase?
5) Do you purchase grain fed or grass fed beef?
6) Are you from the Northern KY/ Greater Cincinnati Area

Here is our info, in case you are looking for data beyond your immediate research area.
1) None - we buy a quarter once every two years.
2) We eat beef about once every two weeks. This is for two people over 60.
3) We buy a quarter from from a local farmer once every two years and store it in our freezer.
4) We get a "split half" so it has hamburger, steaks, roasts, stew meats, etc.
5) Grass fed beef.
6) No - Whatcom County, northwest Washington state.

Catering to the unique Ferndale perspective.
